Puente de Vida is a comfortable, non-institutional six-bed facility that provides incomparable treatment for eating disorders. Each patient’s treatment is personalized to address specific needs, issues and goals. A typical daily schedule for residential patients may include:

A variety of additional activities may include meal outings, art therapy, guided imagery and yoga. Psychiatric and medical care are available 24 hours a day. |

| Patients awake to a carefully planned day. The therapist joins patients for breakfast and morning group therapy and then accompanies them as they journal and snack. Patients have a relaxation activity followed by phone time. Lunch is then served with meal support by the therapist. |
After lunch, patients participate in group therapy and end the session with snack and journal time. When journal writing is complete, patients have free time to receive visitors, make phone calls, etc. Afternoons are usually the time for one on one and family therapy sessions. |
Patients join therapist for dinner, followed by the evening group. Another block of free time is followed by snacks, visits and journal writing. After additional phone time, patients turn in for bed. |
